Visit Melton Estate for coffee, lunch or wine in West Melton

Melton Estate is a family owned boutique winery restaurant and event venue. Our winery restaurant and cellar door is open on Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and otherwise by arrangement. You are welcome to visit for coffee, brunch or lunch, and wine. We also host private events like weddings and other family celebration, plus company meetings, training courses and conferences.

Melton Estate has twice been awarded the Best South Island Wine Tourism Restaurant in the International Great Wine Capitals Tourism Awards. We now have a national quality rating from Qualmark NZ (Gold). Our wines have also gained medals in local and national wine competitions.

Melton Estate features a modern winery building overlooking rows of lush Pinot Noir vines. There are plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy, including lawns, garden areas and the deck looking out over the vineyard.

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday at Melton Estate. We had 29 guests, family and friends. Tracy and her team were outstanding in accomadating our needs The service was excellant and the... food of a very high standard. It was a fun occassion and one of our guests (a professional chef) spokely highly of the catering. This is the second time my family have used Melton Estate.
